Appointment of a Receptionist (Full Time)

Salary Scale SCP: 7 to 12 (£24,294 to £26,421) Plus Generous Local Government Average Salary Pension Scheme
Bridgwater Town Council is a progressive employer looking for a Receptionist who will be the face of the Council, to meet and greet all visitors to the Town Hall offices and handle all incoming calls to the Council as well as handling all incoming post, website enquiries and to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
Areas of day-to-day responsibility include, providing information and directions to visitors who call at reception, as well as supplying information by telephone, letter, or email, to keep the public notice boards and leaflet dispensers in the reception area up to date and well stocked, and make service bookings alongside the taking and processing of payments.
