We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to act as the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate will resolve a wide range of queries effectively and accurately, while supporting corporate objectives and maintaining a professional image.
General duties and responsibilities:- Greet, direct, and assist customers at main reception and support coverage of main telephone enquiries and call handling.
- Take direct ownership and responsibility for resolving customer queries at the first point of contact.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of customer service by suggesting solutions and adding value wherever possible.
- Identify potential complaints and proactively deal with them by following appropriate customer service procedures.
- Accurately capture details of all customer enquiries and maintain customer records.
- Process booking forms, capture and record data securely, and process customer invoices.
- Undertake all administrative procedures required to resolve customer queries and complaints.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, being proactive in solving customer queries.
- Work efficiently towards agreed individual, team, and department targets.
- Support new starters and cover other roles within the service area as needed.
- Support fire and emergency evacuation procedures/processes in liaison with the premises team.
- Be flexible and innovative in taking on additional tasks appropriate to the grade.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and resolve queries accurately.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside normal working hours and on weekends as required.
