Job Title: Receptionist
Reporting to: Duty Manager and Company Director
Job overview: The Front of House is the first employee the guest comes in contact with and this initial interaction is vital to the guest’s experience and impression of our business. You will be presentable, adaptable and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. More than just this, guest-focused, and genuinely enjoys the chance to make people smile! The ability to work under pressure and excellent friendly customer skills are key.
Job Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
· Answering incoming phone calls/emails
· To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of reception area
· To ensure the company’s booking system is correctly utilised, to maintain efficient use of the course and any data capture if required
· Checking in customers using company’s online booking system
· To ensure golfers have paid the appropriate fees for the golf course and driving range
- Keep up to date with current promotions and pricing, to provide information to customers, on request
- Conduct regular security checks , throughout the day and report any security issues to line manager
· Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
· Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
Job Requirements/Skills:
· The ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekend shifts is essential.
· Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Excellent organizational skills
· Customer service attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
