Receptionist / Gp Assistant

We are looking for a Full-time Receptionist/GP Assistant who can work Monday to Friday.

We are offering a competitive salary of £11.95 per hour. . Please apply with a covering letter, CV and completed application form.

We aim to deliver high-quality care to our patients, and you will be central to this as the front of house staff, often being the first contact.

Our practice is a training practices for GP registrars and medical students.

Experience of working in a healthcare setting is mandatory for this post

Main duties of the job

• Meeting and greeting patients and visitors to the practice
• Call handling and booking appointments
• Liaising with secondary care
• Managing patients incoming test results and medical records
• General administration for the practice

The successful candidate will have
· GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths or equivalent
· good understanding of IT systems
· Attention to detail
· Stay calm under pressure
· Work well in a team

2 GP Partners, 9 salaried GPs, 2 Nurses, 2 Clinical Pharmacists and 1 Link Worker

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.50-£11.95 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 days during the week MUST work on a Saturday
