We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist
/ HR Administrator to join a well established construction company with sites across Europe. This role is based in their Wallsend premises where you will be the first point of contact for the site!This is a 3 month temporary to permanent role working Monday to Friday 39.5 hours per week with flexibility on start and finish times! Salary on offer is approx. £24,648 per annum (£12.00 per hour).As Receptionist
/ HR Administrator, you will report into the HR Manager working as part of a team of 4 in HR, supporting the team with HR administration whilst working on the reception desk. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure emails are answered and responded to straight away in order to achieve seamless communication.
- Demonstrate professional reception hosting duties, as Receptionist Host you will manage in-house hospitality, welcome all clients into the building, help with set up of Board Room/Conference Room, direct clients/customers to right department, ensuring drinks/refreshments are regularly offered.
- To be the first point of contact for visitors and help them with any queries. ensuring timely and effective answering of telephone calls. Screening and directing calls appropriately. To ensure that visitor files are kept up-to-date as well as other filing systems.
- Prepare reference checks, leaver letters and all associated documents required in the employment cycle.
- Input new starters onto the HR system and ensure that all personnel files and electronic personnel information is kept up to date and complete.
- Assist with HR projects as and when required.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as Receptionist or Administrator with an excellent telephone manner
- Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
- You will be confident, outgoing and organized with a strong eye and passion for detail
- Will be self-motivated, a multi-tasker, enjoy working as part of team but also comfortable and competent to work alone and under your own initiative when required.
- The HR Administrator works in a changing environment that adjusts to the needs of the day. The environment may, at times, be fast paced with interruptions, distractions, and deadlines. Therefore, the ideal candidate needs to be flexible and be able to adjust to changing needs or activities.
- HR knowledge is not essential for this role
