About the role
The Receptionist’s role is vital to the smooth day-to-day experience at EFI Group for our students, staff and visitors. The Receptionist will be the unsung hero who ensures that day-to-day activities run like clockwork. With a focus on student and visitor experience, the role juggles student queries, logistical oversight, and the ever-present flow of visitors. The role is the first point of contact, embodying the ethos of the EFI Group, ensuring that our students can access support and staff across the building to enable an outstanding student experience, and setting the tone for the visitor experience. The role requires organisation, detailed planning, administrative proficiency and the human touch, which together create an environment where the EFI Group and its community can thrive.
The Receptionist will be professional, friendly, articulate, adaptable, and with the skills to build an affinity with the ethos and values of the EFI Group Community, all whilst maintaining a smart, approachable and dependable attitude. You will be a team player, with the confidence to make the right decisions to drive successful outcomes. Above all the Receptionist will be a positive, friendly and proactive person who wishes to develop your customer-service skills and support the day to day running of our amazing Group.
About you
- You will have a good general level of education with Grade C or equivalent in English.
- You will have a First Aid certificate (or willingness to train).
- You will have experience of working within a school/college or customer centric environment.
- You will have experience of working with young people.
- You will have good oral and verbal communication skills.
- You will be well organised and able to prioritise own work to meet deadlines.
- You will be able to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
- You will be security conscious at all times and have a commitment to high standards.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills needed for prioritising and balancing a busy and varied workload.
- You will have an adaptable and confident approach to meet the challenges of a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
From £26,550 to £29,500 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience
