Established in 2018, Tayside Complete Health is a private health clinic in the centre of Dundee. We are a rapidly growing provider of private healthcare treating patients from all over Scotland. Our aim is to offer timely, high quality, person centred specialist healthcare.
Job Description:
You must be IT literate, display excellent communication skills and a caring professional approach. Adherence to practice protocols and Health and Safety is a necessity. Please note that owing to the nature of the position, the post holder is required to be female in order to carry out the occupational requirements of the role. The contracted hours would be over a 5-day period, including *Saturdays (*1 in 3 but maybe less) The shifts will be set shifts to suit the clinic opening hours between 8am and 8 pm.
The Role:
You will provide the highest standards to people accessing our services. It is important that you possess a high level of attention to detail coupled with the ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure. IT skills are essential including Word, Excel, etc. as well as in-house computer systems. You will be friendly, compassionate, person centred and always mindful of others. You will be positive and articulate and be able to explain sometimes difficult situations to patients with clarity.
You will check in patients with a warm professionalism, liaise with colleagues and consultants, arrange appointments, and maintain patient records. You will maintain the reception area and waiting room, be responsible for daily checks in clinic to guarantee the smooth running of the consultations. You will manage the reception phone and email enquiries and manage the safe and accurate hand over of tasks to colleagues at the end of your shift. You will be responsible for the accurate recording of payments in clinic. Basic chaperoning may be required on occasions. Membership to the PVG scheme is mandatory for this post.

Probationary Period:
6 months due to nature of role
Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday 5 shifts over 6 days. We have one 16 hour post and one 12 hourpost available.
Education
A -Level or equivalent (preferred)
