Receptionist

Connect Appointments have exciting opportunities for a Receptionist to join our Bath based client - a part-time opportunity.
What's on offer? 22.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, within the core hours of 08:00 to 12:30 - flexible role within an agile team. Where you will be paid £13 per hour, with genuine career development opportunities on offer.

Working as a Receptionist you will be assisting in delivering the unexpected to our clients customers, through first-class customer service. Combined with:

• Being the main point of contact for customer requests and enquiries.
• Ensuring that all visitors to the building are met by their host before being allowed access to the building.
• Preparing all visitors and delegate passes in a timely manner where possible prior to the customer/visitor's arrival to site, ensuring seamless entry and reducing waiting times.
• Ensuring the general reception area is always kept in good order and take action if required to enhance the workplace experience.
• Using foresight and check the next day's meeting room bookings, making amendments as necessary.
• Serving as an information source for customers and all visitors to the building
• Answering the telephone in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.

To be successful within this Reception role you will be an inquisitive, energetic and ambitious, with previous experience in a reception, customer service, or similar environment. As well as:

• A high level of written and verbal communication skills; with a great level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good time management skills; with the ability to achieve deadlines, work under pressure and using your own initiative
• Be IT literate with an excellent understanding PowerPoint/Word/Excel
• Be composed under pressure
• Able to act at all times in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality at all times
• A high level focuses on the achievement of targeted results
• A high level of flexibility and a positive attitude to innovation and change
