Recruitment Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Assistant to join the small but busy HR team. This role offers hybrid working home-based 3 days per week and 2 days in the Preston Office, working 37.5 hours a week.

Position: 5369 Recruitment Administrator

Location: Preston/hybrid

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 9 -5 (flexible working available)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £21,255 per annum

Closing Date: 30th January 2024. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early, if enough suitable applications are received to take forward to interview prior to the published closing date.

The Role

This role is offered with hybrid working with 3 days per week home-based and 2 days in the Preston Office covering office hours Monday to Friday.

As a Recruitment Administrator you will be:

- providing first class administrative support to the recruitment process

- assisting to publish vacancies, create offer letters and contracts and carrying out reference checks

- auditing employee records to ensure Right to Work Checks / DBS applications have been completed

- assisting in maintaining records and setting up new employee records

- dealing with general email and telephone enquiries from hiring managers and candidates

- updating and maintaining an applicant tracking system

- responding to external reference requests, providing employment information in line with GDPR

About You

You will need:

- to be highly organised with a strong attention to detail, able to manage a large workload within tight timescales

- the ability to work using your own initiative

- excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach

- good administrative and IT skills- particularly Microsoft Office

- experience of recruitment processes and using an applicant tracking system is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
