Job Title: Recruitment and Employment Officer

Contract: 2-month Contract
Hourly Rate: £19/hour (Hybrid Role)
Job Purpose:
As a Recruitment and Employment Officer for Newham's local authority, your primary role is to deliver recruitment transactional services and ensure employment compliance, enhancing customer satisfaction across all levels. You will provide efficient support to managers and employees regarding Recruitment and Employment queries, collaborating closely with Transactional Payroll, Employee, and Establishment teams, as well as HR colleagues to ensure a seamless service.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely support and guidance to managers and employees on Recruitment and Employment compliance queries.
Manage and resolve Recruitment and Employment queries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Assist Senior Recruitment and Employment Officers with new starters' procedures like DBS checks and right-to-work verifications.
Coach and advise managers on recruitment processes using the Oracle Recruiting Cloud Module of Fusion.
Ensure timely processing of resourcing requirements within agreed standards.
Demonstrate a good understanding of legal requirements for contracts, internal and external recruitment processes, and other HR activities.
