We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our fun friendly and growing team in Newcastle! This role is ideal for someone who has ambition, drives for success and has excellent interpersonal skills. Maybe you have worked in a customer service, hospitality or retail environment and are looking for your weekends to be your own, or for your earning potential to align with your financial goals! The role:

You will be working within our Newcastle branch, amongst a team of highly skilled recruitment professionals. You will be enrolled onto our 16-week training programme and taught how to utilise the skills you already have as well as also how to hone in on the fundamental elements of recruitment to carve a successful career with Pertemps.

• Attending clients’ meetings, acting as a brand ambassador whilst providing a consultative approach
• Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of permanent vacancies
• Understanding candidates career aspirations and building relationships
• Advertising roles and also pro-actively searching for candidates via job boards and social media channels
• Carrying out competency-based virtual interviews
• Bringing on new clients and nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships

Requirements:

• A full driver’s licence and own transport is needed
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles (Sales, Retail, Hospitality)
• Office 365 experience
• Strong drive and ambition
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise your workload effectively
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to succeed
