Pertemps Didcot are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join their fun and friendly team! This role is ideal for someone who has had exposure to the recruitment industry before and is looking to take the next step into a role with responsibility and reward. The successful candidate will have ambition, resilience and loves working in a fast-paced environment.
As a Recruitment Consultant in the Didcot office your main focus will be on sales and business development. You'll be tasked with building an already strong active client base, alongside providing our clients with exceptional talent and building relationships to understand their unique recruitment needs.
The role:

• Searching on job boards for candidates who meet our clients' needs and specifications
• Attending client meetings, acting as a Pertemps brand ambassador and providing a consultative approach
• Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of vacancies
• Understanding candidates career aspirations and building relationships
• Posting job adverts to attract and engage with candidates actively looking for work
• Carrying out in-person & virtual interviews
• Networking with candidates/clients via LinkedIn to maximise opportunities
• Proactively engaging in daily sales and business development activity
• Bringing on new clients alongside nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven track record of successful billing within a previous recruitment position
• Sales mentality
• Goal focused
• People focused with the confidence to build strong networks
• Desire for a long-lasting career in recruitment
• DVLA issued driving licence
