What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?
In Junior Talent we deal with a high volume of applications and hires. Peak campus activity occurs September – March when the bulk of the events are held on campus and most applications are received. February till August you would be supporting in organizing the Summer Internship Programme which runs across all business areas for 10 weeks during the summer, the Graduate programme starting in July and several other Fixed Term Placement programs which run throughout the year across EMEA.
Key Accountabilities
- Reporting into the line of business (LOB) Head of TA, with a functional reporting line into the Junior Talent Recruiter
- Assisting the Events team with coordination of LOB attraction events as needed – preparation of badges, collateral, owning the completion and accuracy of Business Reps tracker based on Recruiters instruction and guidance, proactive flagging of challenges
- Growth in-role: Presenting on Attraction Events
- Collaborate with the Events Team to liaise with external and internal parties to manage room bookings and catering
- Preparation and management of Assessment Centre:
- Planning, arranging logistics and schedules
- Managing room bookings, catering, attendees, briefing calls and comms, networking logistics
- Ordering AC and Event materials
- Collation of assessment centre packs and name badges etc
- Facilitating testing and group exercise delivery
- Growth in-role: attending the wash up sessions with the business held by the Recruiters, take notes and update scores
- Retrieving all feedback forms post Assessment Centre and prompting relevant parties as needed
- Supporting keep warm activities and being the main point of contact for candidates across different geographies – email, phone, Webex
- Providing accurate and timely reporting for your line of business in collaboration with the BI Specialist
- Ownership of the offer tracker details and completion
- Assisting with On-boarding activities, e.g. completing the hiring details trackers based on Recruiter guidance and instruction
- Administrative assistance in preparations and execution of Summer Internship, Graduate and other Programmes throughout the year
What do I need to succeed in this role?
Must haves:
- HR or Admin experience in Recruitment or Graduate / Internship market
- Experience working to and meeting demanding targets and deadlines within volume campaigns
- Experience in the use of technology and databases
- The ability to work as a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible, and collaborative work environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, and exercise sound judgment
- High level of initiative and self-motivation, resilience, and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Attitude displaying integrity and honesty, growth mindset
Nice to haves:
- Experience in using recruitment databases (Oleeo, Taleo)
- In-house/RPO recruitment experience
- An understanding of Graduate recruitment best practice tools and methodologies (e.g. job profiling, campus attraction, selection, and assessment)
- Experience of working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios, and SLAs
- Early Careers experience
