I am currently partnering with the company that is playing a leading role in delivering the North West’s low carbon future. Producing over 16% of the UK’s road transport fuels, providing key feedstocks to Britain’s petrochemical industry and investing in developing low carbon fuels. They are a major supplier in the North West and beyond with customers including most of the major retail brands operated by international oil companies and supermarkets, Manchester Airport, leading commercial airlines and the region’s trains and buses.
They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join the HR Team. Based on site Monday to Friday near Ellesmere Port. Supporting the HR Business Partner (Talent Acquisition and Performance) working on high volume recruitment for the business covering a variety of roles from technical to commercial.
Previous recruitment experience is essential, either internal or agency. Experience using an ATS system is also essential, ideally Success Factors.

The Role:
The role will be to support the Talent Acquisition Business Partner in the full end-to-end Recruitment process including candidate attraction, creating job descriptions, conducting initial candidate screenings, and support large recruitment campaigns including Graduate and Internship programmes and be the main focal point of Recruitment enquires from both internal and external stakeholders.
The role will liaise with candidates, arrange interviews and support the interview panel during interviews. The role will also be required to complete the onboarding process for new hires, including the HR Induction.
About You:
Our ideal candidate should have previously worked within an in-house recruitment environment, and ideally have a Level 3 qualification in Human Resources, or similar. You should have worked with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and be able to create strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You should have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, manage and meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality of work. You will be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and related programs.
Discretion and a clear understanding of managing confidential and commercially sensitive information is always essential for these roles. You should have great organisational skills and excellent attention to detail and possess flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work.
