We’re looking for a Sourcer to join our People Team, covering our Business (Sales) and Corporate functions.
What You’ll Do:
Provide front end (finding, sourcing, and phone screening), high volume recruiting support for our Business, and Corporate stakeholders.
Serve as the first point of contact for passive candidates: identify key talent, engage and screen them.
Post screen, utilize knowledge of the role, needs of the company and team to assess when a candidate should move forward to first round interviews.
Provide recommendations and decisions to your recruiting partner and hiring manager after first rounds to recommend candidates moving into second round interviews.
Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that executes an effective and innovative sourcing strategy in a timely manner.
Act as a search and pipeline management expert for a functional area by understanding hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements.
Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analysing data, identifying alternatives when circumstances change, and seeking out additional responsibilities.
Educate the hiring manager and recruiter on trends and roadblocks you’re seeing in the industry, then work on solutions to resolve and continue to build pipeline.
Develop relationships with candidates, understanding their needs, and connecting them to opportunities at Snap, as well as provide a strong and positive candidate experience.
Ensure all candidate pipelines are representative of the talent market and our users.
Engage in unique and creative sourcing strategies, sharing and learning best practices from your sourcing colleagues.
Work closely with client groups across Snap including Recruiting, Recruiting Coordination and Talent Intelligence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Assessment skills aimed at identifying talent that should move through the interview process or be dispositioned from our process
Ability to engage and activate passive candidates via various creative sourcing techniques
Knowledge of diversity partnerships to help network with, nurture, and hire diverse talent
Ability to effectively screen for technical or job specific competencies and values via phone screens
Ability to tackle challenging problems
Ability to understand technical skills, target companies, the industry landscape, and conferences
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Skill in analyzing and organizing data and tracking metrics
Skill in organization, prioritization, and operating at speed and with urgency
