The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our hugely-successful Education Recruitment business based in Huddersfield. As a Recruitment Specialist, your role is integral to ensuring that we have high-calibre candidate available to supply to our schools across the local area. You will be responsible for attracting, interviewing and managing Education professionals (Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Support Staff) across a variety of schools. In addition to this, you will work with your candidates closely through our compliance process, ensuring that they are cleared to work in a timely-fashion and are kept updated throughout their registration and confirmed assignments.

What can I expect day to day?

As a Recruitment Specialist, you'll have the freedom to do things differently, supported by colleagues with a wealth of experience empowering you to learn and grow. No day is the same here at Hays, and you will gain experience across a varied range of skills to include:

• Building relationships with both new and existing customers (clients and candidates).
• Liaising with key decision makers within schools to confirm cover.
• Managing vacancies from start to finish in addition to day-to-day cover for supply staff into schools.
• Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates
• Matching the best candidates to the best jobs
• Managing your candidates through the compliance process to ensure that they are authorised to work in a school setting.
