About the role
Location: Earlswood, Surrey
- This is a permanent position working five days out of seven, including weekends
- The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:15 and Saturday to Sunday 09:00 – 16:15
- Salary: £20,514 per annum / £10.52 per hour (paid at time and a half at weekends)
- Full Training and Uniform/PPE provided
What will I be doing?
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.
- Assessing the stock that comes into the shop, as well as waste flow, to ensure suitability for sale, making sure that prohibited/unsafe items are removed
- Serving customers and building relationships, including support and sales advice to ensure repeat custom
- Working with the wider team to research stock items to understand their value, merchandise stock and create an understanding of what works well in the shop
- Ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are upheld within the shop.
- Maintaining the security of the shop premises, stock and all shop monies
- Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork
- Any other duties required to achieve the smooth and profitable running of the shop.
- Encourage and promote the Revive Charity scheme.
What are the requirements?
- Full training and uniform/PPE will be provided.
- A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
- Excellent teamwork skills and customer service.
