Job Introduction

Are you someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, managing people and supporting clients? We are recruiting a Regional Events Coordinator to join the Rapport team at one of our client sites. Join our energetic team and play a key role in helping our customers to have the best customer service experience.

The role is 40 hours per week, office based 5 days a week and flexible hours depending on client and event needs. Regional travel will be required. 

Main Responsibilities

The Regional Event Coordinator is primarily responsible for booking, coordinating, and managing the use of the Meeting Rooms and Event Spaces across all of our Regional Offices.

  • You will be the first point of contact for our Hosts, Bookers and Guests providing a warm and informative welcome and introducing them to the area and its facilities
  • You will be extremely customer focused and be able to deal with enquiries and queries in a pro-active and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Assist with the coordination and production of all assigned meetings and events
  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of all aspects for an event, taking complete ownership for each event from the initial enquiry, availability and diary management through to the delivery and follow up of all bookings
  • Work in partnership with all other service providers to develop and deliver events successfully

The Ideal Candidate

Key requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ reservations or event organising experience

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have the passion and drive to deliver the very highest levels of customer service 
  • Have an outgoing personality, understanding the professional etiquette, and be able to easily build rapport with key stakeholders (internal, external and VIPs)
  • Have great interpersonal skills, an outgoing and vibrant personality
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt and flex your working style and behaviour to adapt to the environment of the site you are working at
  • Demonstrate an excellent command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication
  • Be creative, proactive, organised, detail-oriented, process-driven, quick learner and resourceful with a can-do attitude
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and act both proactively and intuitively 
  • Ideally have front-of-house reception experience in a luxury hotel, premium airline, retail, or a corporate environment
