Regional Impact Sales Manager - East Midlands
to 35K basic 40K OTE +4K car allowance
I am currently recruiting for a Regional Impact Sales Manager to work for a leading health and fitness operator, you will be covering a wide territory in the East of England including the Northeast, Yorkshire and Lincs, Leicestershire, Northants and Suffolk. You will typically be working from home for 1 day each week with the rest of the time being spend in centres within the region. It is expected that you will be staying away from your base location for around 50 nights per year, so it is essential candidates are able to commit to this and be very open to working across different centres with different challenges and focuses. These could include supporting with the set up for a new contract win and relaunching the membership offer, to preselling a brand-new opening, launching a centre after a significant investment in the gym and pool or supporting a centre that is below their target. One day you could be auditing sales performance and processes, the next you could be coaching then Sales Manager and then you could be planning for the implementation of upcoming sales and marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Coaching and developing your Sales Managers and sales consultants in all aspects of their roles.
- Review, analyse and interpret key management information and metrics.
- Monitor and manage social media channels working closely with the Central Team.
- To provide sales management cover and support as and when required.
- To work closely with and support the GMs with managing their sales teams.
- To provide the regional team with sales and activity reports requiring strong Excel knowledge.
- Work within the Regional Weekend Sales cover framework providing regional support, typically 1 weekend in 3.
Given the size of the region an ideal base location would be in the middle of the territory in the East Midlands around Nottingham/Derby/Leicester or Northampton although other locations can work. As regional Sales Manager you will need to be target driven with a proven track record of leading sales teams in the fitness industry to meet and exceed targets. We would expect you will already be a successful Sales Manager or club manager from the health and fitness industry looking for an opportunity to develop your career.
The position offers a basic salary of up to 35K, an annual car allowance of £4186 and a monthly bonus potential of up to £400 based on overall regional performance against targets and an individual contribution to sales, with company phone, laptop, 28 days holiday per annum and free gym membership.
