Regional Operations Manager
South East - South East London, Kent, Sussex and Surrey
Field Based, rotating between a group of nurseries

About the role:
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Regional Operations Manager to look after our South East region covering South East London, Kent, Sussex and Surrey.
As Regional Operations Manager you’ll ensure a culture of excellence, high standards and continuous improvement across your region. Leading, coaching and managing your Nursery Managers to ensure their high performance. This role has a particular focus upon employee engagement, customer service, commercial success and compliance.
As part of this role, you’ll deliver targeted operational support in line with the performance and needs of each nursery. Proactively monitoring performance across all areas to pre-empt potential issues before they arise (and respond swiftly should they occur), identify opportunities for further development and ensure full compliance in relation to policies, procedures, business metrics and quality assurance processed across all your nurseries.
You will also:
- Lead employee engagement across the region, implementing effective engagement strategies and coaching management teams in their ability to motivate and inspire their teams
- Lead on workforce planning across the region ensuring that vacancies are appropriately identified, succession planning is in place and nurseries are neither over or understaffed
- Respond rapidly and robustly to any feedback received including feedback from Storal Framework Audits and external quality visits
- Working in partnership with the Regional Education Manager, ensure a consistent and complimentary approach, and constructively feedback on any observed operational challenges
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience of nursery management with strong knowledge of the EYFS and Statutory requirements
- Experience of achieving Ofsted Outstanding results
- Experience of supporting and developing Nursery Managers
- Experience leading operations in a multi-site role
- Early Years Qualification at Level 3/Early Years Degree/EYTS
- Experience managing multiple nursery settings and have the ability to travel to multiple settings
