We are Marmalade Trust. We are a loneliness charity, on a mission to help people understand loneliness and form new social connections.
We run various projects in the South West to support people to reduce isolation and loneliness, and we host the national loneliness awareness week.
We are now looking for a Regional Programme Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As the Regional Programme Manager, you will oversee the delivery of our services in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset.
Leading our small team, you will raise awareness and provide practical support, whilst developing the regional team and creating a wider impact.
You will also ensure current and future operations are sustainable for growth and expansion, managing our budget, performance, reporting, and grants to support our successful, thriving teams.
Undertaking varied duties, you’ll support team members with projects, write high value funding pitches, manage project finances, triage a busy email inbox and liaise with the CEO.
Additionally, you’ll ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and support a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
To be considered as a Regional Programme Manager, you will need:
- Experience in a programme management role with similar levels of operational seniority and responsibility
- Demonstrable management experience gained in an equivalent role
- Experience of setting, monitoring and evaluating SLAs, KPIs and outcomes for contracts and funding applications
- Experience of developing, inspiring, and leading a team
- An excellent understanding of project management and people management methodologies
