SER are currently working alongside a Mental Health Service based in the Essex area who are currently seeking to appoint Regional Service Operations Manager on a permanent contract to cover their West and South Services. As the West and South Essex Regional Service Operations Manager you will be responsible for High, Medium, and Low Services, as well as any new future Services planning and directing the delivery of the Services goals in line with their values and ethos.

About the role:
The West and South Essex Regional Service Operations Manager will work closely with the Head of Operations to:
- Deliver direction and guidance for all High, Medium, and Low Service managers and operational staff
- Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations across all High, Medium, and Low Services with responsibility for reporting on key performance indicators for each service and ensuring that there is effective communication across all West and South Essex Service operations.
- Contribute and support the Head of Operations in the development of new services and oversee their implementation across all West and South Essex locations. This role will evolve with the growth of this Mental Health Support Service. From time to time the job description will be reviewed and amended, to reflect changes in demand.
- To develop and sustain positive working relationships with the Head of Operations, Essex (North, South, East and West) London, and S.E Service Managers, Commissioners, and external Clinical/Service Partners.
- To provide operational direction and support to service teams, as required.
- To provide leadership, direction, and support to service managers and their teams, and ensure effective teamwork across all London and S.E services.
- To ensure that all activities add value for clients.
- To ensure service managers deliver measurable outcomes that demonstrate the positive impact for clients.
- To work with service managers ensuring that staff are adequately qualified to meet the needs of the company.
- To be responsible for the implementation of projects and activities of the company, which contribute to the effective delivery of the services and their performance.
- To implement and maintain all operational policies and procedures in line with effective, fair and consistent management of the services within the relevant legislation and regulation requirements.
- To support the implementation of systems, operational policies, and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency across all West and South Essex Services.
- To ensure that all West and South Essex projects and services operate within agreed budgets and achieve targets.
- To be responsible for service resourcing and working with the Head of Operations and HR in workforce planning and employee development

Essential Requirements:
- Own transport essential
- Experience in leading services across different locations/businesses
- Excellent level of maths and written English
- Ability to plan, manage and prioritise a high workload to meet deadliness
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral and negotiation skills
- Good organisational skills
- Sound budget management experience
- Able to show initiative along with good judgement and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Unwavering commitment to confidentiality
- Able to work independently with efficiency, initiative and minimal supervision
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge and skills in MS Office
