Responsibilities:
Existing Customer Management
- Cultivate and expand the existing customer base by driving sales growth and development.
- Manage project pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Promote and provide technical assistance for their premier Roof products.
- Handle customer complaints effectively and provide necessary support.
- Conduct estimator and technical training presentations.
Specification
- Proactively seek project opportunities by engaging architects, Barbour ABI, and networking.
- Secure strong product specifications with architects, contractors, facility managers, and specifiers.
- Support architects and specifiers to maintain secure specifications.
- Actively track projects through Salesforce and present CPDs to create opportunities.
- Provide project opportunities to approved contractors through strong specification efforts.
New Business Growth
- Achieve growth by onboarding new roofing contractors.
- Network to create new business opportunities and develop relationships with OEM partners.
- Utilise Barbour ABI for prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
Internal Activities
- Meet monthly sales budget targets.
- Control operating expenses within the region.
- Ensure accurate reporting through Salesforce and monthly reports.
- Liaise with technical and marketing departments.
- Provide insights through case studies and market intelligence.
- Support sales support and customer service staff.
- Pursue ongoing learning and personal development.
About you:
Experience
- A solid understanding of customer needs, product application, and the roofing marketplace.
- Good technical knowledge of the built environment marketplace is desirable.
- Proven track record of at least three years’ experience in roofing or construction-related product sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
