As we continue to grow and develop our portfolio of homes, we have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Support Managers to join us to cover the central region.
As a Regional Support Manager, you will provide effective support to Regional Managers and Home Managers in a specific geographic location and support the Operations team with both the delivery and sustainability of excellent quality care, service, and operational effectiveness.
You will ensure that Avery standards are upheld, that the Avery process is followed in all homes and that areas of potential risk or concern are addressed appropriately. A full driving license and the ability to travel and stay away overnight when required is essential.
Please note: our ideal candidate would preferably be a Registered Nurse with an active PIN, have at least two years’ experience of leadership and management in a regional capacity.

As Regional Support Manager, you will:
- Provide focus and support in key homes, ensuring appropriate compliance to standards, reporting and service delivery
- Interpret information in support of regional performance against quality indicators. Make suitable recommendations to the Regional Manager to address areas of concern
- Complete provider review and home visits in conjunction with the Regional Manager
- Carry out investigations to complaints and safeguarding referrals
- Support the Regional Managers with the recruitment and induction of Home Managers
- Support the Home Manager in the effective marketing of the homes by providing support with marketing plans and undertaking competitor analysis
- Advise and support Regional Managers and Home Managers with personnel issues relating to the recruitment, retention, supervision, and performance management of staff
- Identify problem areas and make recommendations to address these, in discussion/agreement with the Regional Manager
- Ensure that all homes provide high quality care and service which meet current legislation, regulatory requirements, best practice, and Avery Healthcare standards
