Supporting our Mental Health services across the Southwest region, join Elysium as the Regional Training Officer, where you will work alongside the Regional Training Manager and the L&D team to identify staff training and development needs, and support the planning, organising, and the delivering of appropriate training.
Reporting to the Southwest Training & STMVA Regional Hub Lead , you will liaise with the central L&D Team and the senior management at services across the region to provide inclusive support for our induction programme, refresher training, and specialist service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:
- To support the training hub with training delivery, as part of the induction programme, refresher training, and specialist service/department delivery
- To provide support with training requirements as identified by the Regional STMVA& Hub Lead, Regional Training Manager and Hospital Directors
- To ensure that all training has an inclusive approach and can evidence best practice.
- To work with the sites to ensure all they have access to the required learning opportunities, working in the designated geographic area.
- To react positively to hot topics, changes in legislation, governing body impacts or corporate policy changes.
- To take part, as directed, in the review/design process of training packages and related policies on a predetermined basis.
- Engaging presentation and delivery skills.
- You'll be qualified GSA STMVA Trainer (or willing to gain the qualification)
- Evidence of training experience.
- 2 years’ Experience of working in a Mental Health / Learning Disabilities setting.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Possess effective time management and organisational skills
- Annual salary of £26,000- £28,000
