- To obtain Registered Manager status with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- To manage the services within Visiting Angels in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices.
- To provide leadership to the office staff team and community team.
- Create a work atmosphere that promotes a high quality of work life.
- Create and maintain a culture of performance and excellence.
- Promote and implement the company’s policies and procedures.
- Manage costs effectively at all times in agreement with the Registered Provider.
- To assist in the improvement and maintenance of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standard
- Maintain high levels of care in line with CQC regulations.
- Hold excellent relationships with families and clients as well as local authorities.
- To assist in generating referrals, either via forming of relationships with relevant people from the Local Council; or from marketing locally so as to receive private referrals.
- Must hold Level 5 or be working toward
- Must be able to drive and access to a car.
- Must also have at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role within care.
