Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities Service
Location: Oakwood, London
Salary: £40-48k plus 10% Bonus
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 10-bed service for Adults with Learning Disabilities in Oakwood, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a skilled team to deliver person-centred care and support.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain and continuously improve the quality of care provided, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensure that all care plans are person-centred, regularly reviewed, and tailored to individual needs.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and other relevant regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices within the field of Learning Disabilities.
Staff Development:
- Provide training, supervision, and support to staff members, promoting professional development and a positive working environment.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and collaboration within the service.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external professionals.
- Act as a key point of contact for relevant authorities and agencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a management role within a Learning Disabilities service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
