Are you an experienced Deputy Manager in a Residential Childrens home and looking for the next step?
We are working with a trusted Client who is seeking a value driven, team player to be the Registered Manager for 3 bedded Children's Home for Young People with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
As the Registered Manager you will be taking responsibility and maintaining exceptionally high standards for the management of the home where the Children live.
As a Registered Manager you will make sure that the home environment can support this by ensuring both your staff and the Young People feel secure, safe and motivated.
The Registered Manager provides leadership, direction, and support to the team.
The Registered Manager will be experience within Children's Services and will demonstrate managing teams in Residential setting for at least two years and have or be willing to work towards Level 4 or L5 Diploma..
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the Home, for medium to long term planned placements to ensure children And Young People are supported and prepared to move on to independent living, and/or return to home or foster care.
To ensure that high levels of emotional and physical care, appropriate activities, comfortable accommodation and the service of keyworkers are planned, provided and applied in accordance with home's Policies & Procedures and core values.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Management, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for children And Young People residing within the home
Provide effective leadership by implementing Organisational strategies.
Promote team development and effective team working
Maximise the effectiveness of staff through motivation, development and personnel policies.
To take the lead in setting standards and evaluating achievements.
Set and review targets and objectives for the home's staff team to ensure that work is focused and has clear direction.
