Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager - Mental Health on a permanent full-time basis, based in West Belfast. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role. The salary for this role will be dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview.
You'll be based in our client's brand-new 15-bed mental Health Inpatient Facility, providing services such as Mental Health assessment, therapeutic work and treatment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting project with one of Northern Ireland's most well-known and award-winning providers of care, which employs over 500 members of staff across six care homes throughout Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities:

- Use your clinical experience and compassion to help deliver the exceptional levels of patient care our client is renowned for.
- Provide the multi-disciplinary team with in-depth expertise of the Mental Health and Mental Capacity Acts effectively ensuring patients always receive exceptional levels of care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse or Social Worker with appropriate registration (NMC or NISCC)
- Level 5 or NVQ in Adult Residential Management.
- 2 years minimum in a similar setting, managing varied and complex Mental Health illnesses.
- Sound, demonstrable working knowledge of the 1983 Mental Health Act, and 2016 Mental Health Capacity Act NI.
- Experienced in delivering clinical supervision in a leadership/management capacity.
- Experienced in the design and implementation of risk assessment and risk management plans, along with the ability to ensure care plans are understood by the patient.
- An effective communicator: verbal and written, with a proven ability to lead, motivate and develop your team.
- Accurately record and maintain documentation, carry out audits, and always demonstrate integrity.
- Experienced in working with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Flexible to meet the needs of the business and undertake any other duties as requested.
