Registered Manager's Position Summary:
As the Ofsted Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential home for children.
Registered Manager's Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide robust leadership to the team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Efficiently supervise and manage all facets of the residential home.
- Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all pertinent regulations and standards, upholding a high level of care that prioritises the welfare and well-being of each child.
- Staff Development: Develop and implement effective staff development plans, incorporating training and supervision to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain and elevate the quality of care. Identify areas for improvement and enact necessary enhancements.
- Communication: Cultivate open and transparent communication with children, staff, families, and external stakeholders. Cultivate positive relationships with relevant authorities and agencies.
- Financial Management: Efficiently manage the residential home budget, ensuring judicious allocation of resources to meet the diverse needs of the children.
Registered Manager's Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a residential childcare setting.
- In-depth understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for advocating the well-being and development of children and young people.
- Experience to meet in line with Ofsted requirements
