Seven Resourcing are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to work in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients suffering from various Mental Health issues. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored care plans for each patient, ensuring their individual needs are met.
The rate of pay varies from £24 to £36 p/h depending on shift.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' Mental Health conditions, including their medical history, current symptoms, and any contributing factors.
- Developing individualised care plans in collaboration with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. This may include medication management, therapy, and other interventions.
- Administering medications as prescribed by psychiatrists or other healthcare providers, and monitoring patients for any side effects or adverse reactions.
- Providing various therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, psychoeducation, and counselling, to support patients in managing their Mental Health issues.
- Responding promptly to crises or emergencies, such as suicidal ideation or aggressive behaviour, and implementing appropriate interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
Applicant Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Qualifications: A BSc (Hons) degree in Mental Health nursing.
- Experience: 1+ years working as an RMN within the UK.
- Compliance: Up to date DBS and NMC registration.
- Travel: Ability to commute to and from work independently.
