Job Description
We are currently seeking dynamic and experienced Registered Mental Nurses (RMN) to join our team. As a Registered Mental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise and empathy will contribute to improving the well-being and quality of life for those in your care. This position offers the flexibility of temporary hours, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a positive impact on patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individuals' needs, strengths, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer and monitor medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication protocols and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and evidence-based treatments to support individuals' recovery and symptom management.
- Offer emotional support, active listening, and therapeutic communication to individuals and their families to foster a therapeutic relationship.
Qualifications:
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, psychiatric treatments, and therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting recovery-oriented practices.
