AddressOcean Healthcare have opportunities for great nurses to work as part of our TOP RATED nursing agency. You will primarily be working in Nursing Homes in and around Plymouth. You will often be the person in charge at the facility, particularly when working nights and weekends. Choose when and how much you work!

Being able to drive and access to transport will usually be required.

PAY RATES:
- £23.00 p/hr Mon-Fri (Days)
- £25.00 p/hr Mon-Thurs (Nights)
- £27.00 p/hr Friday (Nights)
- £27.00 p/hr Sat-Sun (Days and Nights)
- £35.00 p/hr Bank Holidays
BENEFITS:
- Peak Pay – Select shifts paid at enhanced rates.
- Standby – Hold your availability on the day for a short notice shift, if you don’t receive a shift, we will pay you £50.
- Extra Hour – Full mileage and an extra hour of pay for short notice shifts.
- Quick Pay – Work today, get paid tomorrow for short notice shifts.
Shifts are usually 12 hours. 0800-2000 or 2000-0800 (or similar)
You control your availability and the shifts you are booked for all through an easy to use app on your smartphone. There are also a lot of great people in our local offices working hard for you to ensure everything runs smoothly.
GREAT SUPPORT! You will have a specific person assigned to you in Ocean Healthcare who will understand as much as they can about you and what you're after. You'll be able to speak to them as you need to Mon-Fri to ensure everything is working well. Furthermore, you will receive clinical and pastoral support from our Lead Nurse. We will ensure you are well briefed and supported to carry out your duties on shift.
You will be an experienced nurse who is confident and able to lead a shift in a care home. PEG Feeding and Syringe Drivers are a common requirement of agency nurses. If you need training or brushing up on these skills we will be pleased to support you with that.
