We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior Registered Nurse to lead a team of passionate care assistants. You must be hard working with good communication skills and proficient in the assessment of peoples care needs and developing person centred care plans.

Frances Bolitho is brand new, purpose-built 33 bed Nursing and Dementia care home with a small 12 bedded residential care facility next door. Situated in a beautiful location in the South West of Cornwall. Bolitho is first and foremost a home for all of our residents. Our belief is that people with dementia need to feel safe, secure and comfortable whilst also feeling the people surrounding them understand their needs and communication methods.

Main duties and Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse

• To lead a team of Health Care Assistants to ensure the highest standards of person centred care for individual residents.
• To administer medication as prescribed for individual residents.
• To work as part of the team, providing all aspects of personal care for individual residents as needed.
• To devise person centered care plans.
• To make accurate records relating to the care provided for residents and their well-being.
• To provide formal supervision to team members as required.

Requirements

• Kind, caring and compassionate in nature
• Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standard
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a diverse and changing environment
• Ability to communicate and interact well with residents and others
• Active NMC registration
• Previous experience of medication administration
• Previous experience of care planning and carrying out assessments

Pay Scale

• £25.00 per hour - Mon - Fri days
• £31.25 per hour on Weekend days
• £50.00 per hour on Bank Holidays
• £26.00 - per hour Mon - Fri nights
• £32.50 per hour weekend nights
• £52.00 per hour bank holidays nights
