About the Role:
As a Veterinary Nurse (RVN), you'll be dedicated to promoting animal health and well-being. Working alongside Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses, your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with nursing duties, including administering treatments, maintaining infection control, and monitoring vital signs.
- Providing physical and emotional assistance to clients.
- Managing appointments, maintaining records, and supporting other team members.
In summary, as an RVN, you'll be integral to providing compassionate care while contributing to the practice's efficient operation.
Candidate Requirements:
To excel, you'll need:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification recognized by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Registration with the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively and adapt to varying workloads and schedules.
