Due to our expanding business an exciting opportunity has opened up and we welcome you to appy. Our busy Vets for Pets practice is in the heart of Edinburgh and we value staff wellbeing and progression first and foremost.
This position can be hours that work around you and the rota will revolve around 1 in 4 weekends with no OOH and time back in the week if you are working the weekend. We care about our staff and have paid lunch and coffee breaks and do not over book the diary.
The role involves working on theatre/anaesthesia, patient recovery, inpatient care, diagnostic and nurse lead consults. There is opportunity to learn schedule 3 procedures and we encourage nurses to be used to their full potential.
We would be looking for someone who is organised with an enthusiastic approach to learning and sharing new skills. Being a team player is very important to us as we have worked hard together to build up the practice and also having the flexibility to work independently will be an advantage.
You will be joining our experienced, dynamic team of 3 full time Vets and 1 Part Time Vet, 2 RVNs, 1 SVN and a Practice Manager, with 4 Client Care Advisors. Our practice has a keen interest in emergency and critical care, feline nursing, dermatology and clinical animal behaviour and offer a variety of nurse led clinics and behaviour consults making us unique in the area. We would encourage further training in areas you have interest in.
