Form of work We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly practice near Gateshead.
This is a full-time or part-time permanent position with only 1: 8 Saturday mornings 9.00am - 12.00pm and no OOH's.
A few years ago, they extended the practice to offer 5 consulting rooms, a designated lab area and separate dog and cat waiting areas. Last year the clinical area was refurbished to allow for a large prep area, second theatre (for orthopaedic surgeries) and larger cat and dog wards as well as separate isolation ward.
The nursing team consists of 1 Lead RVN, 4 RVNs who help support 3 students at various stages of the studies. Clinical coaching is also something they are keen for their RVNs to work towards. If you have a keen interest in minor surgery/schedule 3 they really encourage this as a practice for all their nurses.
Salary and benefits:
Salary between £24,000 and £30,000 (dependant on experience)
