Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000
Join a leading global manufacturing company in Basildon as a full-time Regulatory Compliance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing REACH programs, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the company's success. Full training will be provided on equipment, and there are opportunities for increased responsibilities as you progress within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
" Develop and implement REACH programs for compliance and business success.
" Act as a technical/RA expert on cross-functional projects.
" Serve as the REACH expert and leader within Regulatory Affairs.
" Environmental product compliance coding (RoHS / REACH).
" Provide project support, coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams.
" Handle customer requests for regulatory confirmation in accordance with various regulations.
" Source information from approved suppliers.
Requirements:
" Good communicator at all levels.
" Knowledge of ROHS (minimum), with REACH being desirable.
" Previous experience in a similar support role, preferably within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
" Willingness to take on responsibility, use initiative, and work well within a team.
" Creative thinking.
" Solid understanding of technical information and interpretation of 2D drawings.
" Accuracy with data entry.
" Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., ISO9001 or ISO13485) and regulations such as RoHS, WEEE.
" Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
" Excellent telephone manner.
" Strong command of the English language.
" Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
" Knowledge of APQP - understanding and implementing
