Regulatory Compliance Officer

We are proud to be working with an established global manufacture based in Basildon who are currently seeking a full time Regulatory Compliance Officer.

Full training will be given on equipment and there is an opportunity to take on increased responsibilities as you develop within the role.

Job responsibilities will include: -

• Responsible for developing and implementing REACH programs to ensure compliance and business success
• Act as technical/RA expert on cross-functional projects
• Act as REACH expert and leader within RA
• Environmental Product compliance coding (RoHS / REACH)
• Project support - coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams
• Dealing with customer requests for regulatory confirmation in accordance with varying regulations
• Sourcing information from approved suppliers

To be successful in this role you will be: -

• Good communicator at all levels
• Knowledge of ROHS (minimum), but REACH desirable
• Ideally hold previous experience within a similar support role, preferably within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
• Willing to take on responsibility, use initiative and work well within a team
• Creative thinking
• A solid understanding of technical information / interpretation of 2D drawings
• Accuracy with data entry
• Familiar working within quality systems (eg ISO9001 or ISO13485) and with RoHS, WEEE
• Outlook, Word skills
• Must be computer literate have good IT skills such as Outlook, Word & Excel
• Excellent telephone manner
• Good English language knowledge
• Can work as part of a team

Hours & Salary

• Monday to Friday Day Shift / Flexitime
• GBP40,000.00PA
