Regulatory & Investigations Associate NQ-4PQE

Exciting opportunity for a Regulatory and Investigations Associate from NQ to 4 years' PQE to join a global law firm. 
 
The successful candidate will advise clients on large projects such as M&A of regulated businesses, regulatory change and cross border expansion with the opportunity to develop their expertise over a broad range of consumer, payments and wholesale financial services.
  
The successful candidate will require:

• Knowledge of the overall regulatory landscape in the UK and a good understanding of the upcoming regulatory reform in the UK under the Edinburgh Reforms.
• A broad understanding of some of the major international regulatory initiatives impacting the financial sector including PSD2 & Open Banking, MIFID II, EMIR, MAR, DORA and MiCAR.
• Knowledge of the UK regulatory perimeter, including issues relating to, the RAO, EMRs and PSRs.
• Knowledge or experience providing regulatory transaction support to both M&A and corporate reorganisation.
• Knowledge or experience of supporting firms with FCA/PRA licensing processes including authorisations, variation of permission, notifications and de-authorisation process.
