Regulatory Officer

CK Group are recruiting for a Regulatory Officer to join a chemicals and coatings manufacturing company based near Ilford, on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client manufactures coatings and paints primarily supplied into the automotive sector. They are ISO9001 and 14001 accredited, as well as being compliant with more specific industry standards. If successful you will be joining an organisation with a long history of responding to consumers' needs.
The Role:
The Regulatory Officer will be responsible for the administration and progression of regulatory compliance requirements, which will include daily interaction with customers and departments who operate outside of the Technical laboratories.
Location:
This role is based near Ilford which is easily accessible by road from Romford, Enfield, Brentwood, Harlow and surrounding areas by road. Free parking is provided.
Responsibilities:

• Administrative activities - act as a central point for receiving casework from customers and internal staff, logging and progressing this on a central register
• Co-ordination of casework - using initiative to refer enquires to other teams for advice
• Chemical Safety Systems - register all new Raw Materials for COSHH risk assessment as samples are requested, co-ordinating the receipt of chemical safety information and arranging the registration of correct information into the PV formulation database
• Compliance information requests - progressing and logging of customer requests for compliance information
• Chemical Regulatory Monitoring of EU, UK and global regulatory activity

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

• Background in chemistry, preferably at degree level
• Chemical regulatory and or compliance administration experience strongly preferred
• Experience of administration roles, ideally within a manufacturing company
