Due to ongoing growth and profitability this newly created role has been created to manage the Regulatory Reporting function.
The role over the Society's Regulatory Reporting function will be to manage the completion of monthly, quarterly and annual Regulatory Reports. To develop any new reporting submissions as required and to document all current processes, interpretations of regulations and assumptions made by the Society.
Requirements:
- Specialism experience or Professional Qualifications Required:
- Accounting qualification (ACCA Preferable)
- Substantial experience within the financial services sector of Regulatory Reporting.
- Reporting to: Financial controller
Your Role Specific Responsibilities:
Manage the production and review of regulatory returns to ensure submission is completed accurately and by the completion date as defined in the Regulatory Reporting Policy.
Build and complete detailed variance analysis of all regulatory returns.
Manage all Regulatory Reporting Framework documents, ensuring they are completed and updated as per process changes, and reviewed annually.
Build and manage all Regulatory Reporting Taxonomy documents, ensuring they are completed and updated as per regulatory changes, and reviewed annually.
Document all assumptions and decisions made in regulatory interpretations.
Attend the Regulatory Reporting Committee as a member, providing MI, discussion papers and interpretations as required.
Manage and build automation into the production process of Regulatory Reporting for both working files and variance analysis.
Manage the continuous improvement of all Regulatory Reporting procedures to provide best practice support for the Society.
Manage the continuous improvement of all Regulatory Reporting systems to provide best practice support for the Society.
Manage and lead the Regulatory Reporting Team.
