Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst
A leading global commodities trading company is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Regulatory Reporting team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on strategic regulatory projects within a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform business analysis for Regulatory Reporting projects across multiple jurisdictions including EU and US
- Document business requirements and functional specifications for Regulatory Reporting system changes
- Conduct data analysis to map data flows from source systems to regulatory submissions
- Lead requirements workshops, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive solutions
- Support user acceptance testing activities for regulatory projects
- Follow software development best practices
Key Requirements:
- Experience of performing root cause analysis of the EMIR Trade, Position & Valuation Reporting issues
- Several years experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or commodities trading
- In-depth knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements such as EMIR, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank
- Expertise with front-to-back commodity trading lifecycles and derivative products
- Exposure to EMIR reporting reconciliation tools is a nice to have
- Ability to elicit, document and validate business requirements
- Hands-on SQL experience for data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops and testing processes
- Confident collaborating with IT and development teams
- Knowledge of Waterfall software development lifecycles
Location: London/remote working
Duration: 6-month Contract (rolling)
Umbrella rate: £650 to £750/day (inside ir35)
