SalaryThe City & Capital Group are delighted to be representing an award-winning specialist challenger bank renowned for excellence in property finance lending. They are actively looking to grow their Development Finance team with an upcoming or experienced Relationship Manager to join the team at a genuinely exciting time of growth.
Our client has experienced amazing growth over the last two to three years, buoyed by excellent funding and ambitions to be the leading challenger in their space. Some may argue that this has now been achieved, however they are keen to continue to build on their excellent reputation and market standing further in 2024.
As Relationship Manager you will work closely with the companies experienced Lending Directors and will act as the first point of contact for borrowers for queries, relevant to new applications or active loans within their Development Finance portfolio. You will be heavily involved in the full lending cycle from cradle to grave.
This will involve activities such as:
- Reviewing and assessing new lending opportunities including financial analysis of development projects
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to progress loans
- Assisting with credit paper preparation
- Attending client meetings and site visits
- Preparing facility letters and other documentation
- Monitoring live loans and assisting with exit strategies
- Supporting loan restructuring or new borrowing from the portfolio
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Previous or current experience of Development Finance lending
- Experience in a comparable client or relationship management position within property finance
- Confidence analysing accounts/numbers and development appraisals
- Motivation to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ambition to grow with the firm for the long term
Strong communication and organisation skills will be critical in this customer-facing position, as you maintain records, produce reports and work closely with various internal teams.
The role itself offers a highly competitive salary of up to c£55k plus bonus, complemented by excellent company benefits from day one.
