Reliability and Maintainability Consultant

Your experience carrying our reliability analysis in the engineering sector will make a real impact for my client a leading engineering consultancy.
As part of the team you will deliver world class solutions to their varied client base. 
As a Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Consultant you will be passionate about R&M and providing independent and assured R&M advice. You will support the delivery of R&M projects to schedule, quality and budget, whilst meeting client and corporate expectations. Your knowledge and experience of reliability engineering techniques, processes and concepts will allow you to support their clients in delivering expert technical solutions to their complex requirements.

About the Role
Duties will include:

• Conducting R&M engineering tasks of complex systems eg. Military Equipment and/or Rail Rolling Stock
• Carrying out Reliability Predictions;
• Reliability & Availability Modelling;
• Fault Tree Analysis
• Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis
• Maintainability & Testability Analysis
• Data Recording, Analysis, and Corrective Action System;
• Completing R&M Cases

To be suitable for the role:

• You will need to have experience carrying out Reliability Analysis activities
• Awareness of related standards including DEF STAN 00-600 and BR1313A.
• Understanding of the relationships between R&M and Design, Dependability, Safety, ILS & Asset Management;
• Confidence at liaising with clients and other technical disciplines on R&M issues

Job Title: Reliability Engineer, Safety and Reliability Consultant, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis,
Location: The role can be based anywhere in the UK as home working will be offered, you maybe required to travel to client sites as and when required
Salary: Up to 70K
