As a Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Consultant you will be passionate about R&M and providing independent and assured R&M advice. You will support the delivery of R&M projects to schedule, quality and budget, whilst meeting client and corporate expectations. Your knowledge and experience of reliability engineering techniques, processes and concepts will allow you to support their clients in delivering expert technical solutions to their complex requirements.

Location: The role can be based anywhere in the UK as home working will be offered, you maybe required to travel to client sites as and when required
Salary: Up to 70K
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet these criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

About the Role
Duties will include:
- Conducting R&M engineering tasks of complex systems eg. Military Equipment and/or Rail Rolling Stock
- Carrying out Reliability Predictions;
- Reliability & Availability Modelling;
- Fault Tree Analysis
- Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis
- Maintainability & Testability Analysis
- Data Recording, Analysis, and Corrective Action System;
- Completing R&M Cases
To be suitable for the role:
- You will need to have experience carrying out Reliability Analysis activities
- Awareness of related standards including DEF STAN 00-600 and BR1313A.
- Understanding of the relationships between R&M and Design, Dependability, Safety, ILS & Asset Management;
- Confidence at liaising with clients and other technical disciplines on R&M issues
