SalaryAcademic Appointments Ltd is currently working with an East Leeds partner School to recruit a dedicated Religious Education Teacher. This is a Full-Time Religious Education placement and will be an immediate start until the end of the year, in the first instance, with a potential of a permanent offer for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be teaching Religious Education up to GCSE level.
This is a ‘Good’ rated school, based East Leeds where behaviour in lessons and around the school is good and school leaders’ work to keep students safe. The Humanities department’s aim is to challenge and inspire its students to achieve their full potential. The school is described by staff as an excellent place to work and learn.
Requirements:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- Evidence of an exemplary track record
- A passion for success and quality teaching
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
