NJR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing client who are achieving great success, in their recruitment of a Renewals Underwriter to join their friendly, experienced and knowledgeable team in Manchester City Centre.
Due to an exciting period of sustained success and growth, our client is looking to grow a renewal team in Manchester and therefore requires 3 new Underwriters with knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, with great personality and a hard-working attitude along with the ambition, drive and determination to succeed.
You will be joining a company who are all about providing a high-level of service to their clients and have a fantastic company culture, making them a great business to work for. The salary can be flexible depending on your level, as we are happy to hear from different underwriting individuals with a range of experience.
The Role:
As Renewals Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting renewal business both profitably and accurately, providing a quality underwriting service to clients at all times.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Underwriting renewal business accurately and in line with the established practice
- Providing excellent underwriting and administrative support
- Developing and managing strong working relationships with intermediaries
- Producing accurate documentation in a timely manner
Skills and Experience Required:
- Commercial Underwriting experience is essential, with experience working as part of an MGA being very beneficial albeit not essential.
- Good experience and knowledge of Commercial Property and Casualty underwriting is also required.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, along with being a very personable individual and able to develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A good personality and hard-working attitude.
