Repairs Manager
Location: Newent, Gloucestershire
Salary: Circa £44,500 per annum
The Vacancy
This vacancy is a 12-month fixed term contract - 37 hours per week
We are currently seeking a Repairs Manager to support the Head of Repairs who wants to make a difference and help deliver our purpose for warm, safe and affordable homes for our tenants.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that the team of office and field-based staff is motivated to support the successful delivery of day-to-day responsive repairs, planned and cyclical works, meeting and exceeding customer service and quality standards. You’ll manage the teams who deliver emergency, urgent and routine repairs, and voids repairs works on Two Rivers Housing properties as well as external clients. To achieve this you will lead the operative and back-office workforce effectively and carry out all performance reviews ensuring that staff are supported, mentored and developed to achieve their full potential.?

Experience you’ll possess
Experience of managing Trades and facilities teams within a domestic repairs /maintenance industry.?
Experience of providing great customer focussed service.
Knowledge of health and safety and CDM legislation.
Leadership and Management qualification (ILM or similar) or working towards the same.
Successful responsibility for achieving on target KPI performance
Maintenance NVQ to level 3 or equivalent.
A good technical background linked to a relevant trade.
Ideally a Health & Safety Qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH).
Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence is required.?
