What We Are Looking For...
Job Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team supporting both Retail and B&M to drive growth and make sound strategic decisions. The role is 3-4 days a week with flexible working.
The analyst will take ownership of weekly and monthly reporting, data analysis and accounting for the Retail and B&M areas. This newly created role provides an ambitious individual unique exposure to the core building blocks of a successful retail business.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager for B&M and Retail, key responsibilities include:
- Ad hoc trading and cost analysis to support the Finance Business Partner and the Commercial Finance Managers in influencing senior management decisions
- Weekly and daily trade reporting for B&M and Retail areas
- Monthly journal postings of accruals for the B&M and Retail areas
- Period end retail and B&M reporting
- Supporting the Finance Business Partner and the Commercial Finance Managers in ad hoc analysis for the purpose of budgeting and forecasting
- Ownership of forecast and budget submissions into the finance system
- Working alongside FP&A to ensure B&M and Retail reporting continues to meet the standard of the wider commercial finance group
- Always looking for opportunities to make reporting and analysis more efficient and effective

Key Experience and Skills:
- Strong excel skills
- Retail industry experience desirable but not required
